Athlone-based medical device company, Teleflex Medical, received the gold award in the Shared Service category at the third Irish Medical Devices Association (IMDA) Excellence Awards last Thursday night, November 12. Supported by Enterprise Ireland and IDA, the awards were held at Dromoland Castle, Co Clare.

Mayo-based medical device company Baxter Healthcare walked away with the silver award in both the Manufacturing and Operational Excellence categories and Skills and Knowledge category at the third annual Irish Medical Devices Association (IMDA) Industry Excellence awards at Dromoland Castle. IMDA, a business sector within IBEC, hosted the event in association with Enterprise Ireland and IDA.
